Harry Potter Books

Title: Harry Potter and The Cursed Child
Release Date: 31 July 2016
Author: J.K. Rowling

About This Book
It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.
While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

Book Review
 J. K. Rowling’s magical seven-volume Harry Potter series is the ultimate bildungsroman, tracing that young wizard’s coming of age, as he not only battles evil but also struggles to come to terms with the responsibilities, losses and burdens of adulthood. In the course of those books, we see a plucky schoolboy, torn by adolescent doubts and confusions, grow into an epic hero, kin to King Arthur, Luke Skywalker and Spider-Man.
Now, in a play set 19 years later, we get to see how this legendary hero has settled into middle age as a civil servant in London, working at the Ministry of Magic. More important, we get to see Harry as a father — and his teenage son Albus’s efforts to cope with the suffocating expectations that come with having a famous father. “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” is about the journey Albus takes while growing up, and the roles he and his best friend, Scorpius (Draco Malfoy’s son), play when dark forces, perhaps in league with Voldemort, once again threaten the fate of the planet.

Book Review (Dinosaurs)

Title
: Growing Up in the Cretaceous: Scipionyx (Dinosaurs)
Release Date: October 6, 2009
Author: Marco Signore

About This Book

Growing Up in the Cretaceous, the fourth title in Abbeville's Dinosaurs series, begins with the hatching of the eggs in a family of Scipionyx, small carnivores living in the early Cretaceous period, 113 million years ago, in what is now Italy. The story follows one of the hatchlings as, with the help of his parents, he learns to survive amidst larger dinosaurs, like the duck-billed hadrosaurs and the fish-eating Baryonyx. The essays following the comic investigate the behavior of dinosaurs.

In Abbeville's Dinosaurs series, a talented artist and a noted paleontologist have teamed up to re-create the vanished world of the dinosaurs in comic-book form. Each volume in the series tells the action-packed yet scientifically accurate story of a different dinosaur living in its particular time and place. At the back of each volume, meanwhile, are several short essays, abundantly illustrated with original drawings and photographs of fossils, that explain more about the creatures and settings encountered in the comic.

Isi Kandungan

Terpaksa mengalah, Syaza menurut ke hutan jua. Kanta lekap pula merengsa mata, maka dipakainya spek mata pemberian arwah ayah yang lama ditinggalkan kerana berbentuk bulat ala-ala Harry Porter. Tiba-tiba sesuatu yang pelik berlaku. Syaza mempunyai kuasa menundukkan lelaki! Syawal dan Syakir mendengar cakap. Malah Fahrin hero Sri Bangsar di sekolah juga turut mendekatinya!
Apa sebenarnya yang terjadi? Tiba-tiba Syaza banyak ‘like’ di sana sini. Sampai The Wannababes kumpulan popular pun iri hati! Ketahui segalanya dalam novel Aku Mahu Banyak Like... haa... mesti like novel ini ya!

Book Review
Syaza yang banyak 'like' itu sampai The Wannababes pun iri hati akannya. Buku ini sungguh menarik sekali dan saya suka membacanya.
